Connor MacLeod, the Highlander, was born in the
Scottish Highlands in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Sheil in January of
1518. Connor was killed in 1536 during a battle between the Clan MacLeod and the
Frazier clan. The Kurgan, an immortal from the Russian Steppes, ended MacLeod's mortality with a
thrust to his stomach. Connor was later trained by Juan Ramirez who was later killed by

The Kurgan was the most powerful of all the immortals, until he was beheaded in 1985 by Connor MacLeod. The Kurgan was born in a Kurgan province on the steppes of Russia. He lived a terrible mistreated life and was one day murdered by his own father by means of a head bashing. The Kurgan was then reborn. He killed his father and left his village. Later he was discovered by a good immortal who trained him and treated him as he had never been treated before, human. His kindness was later repaid when he was beheaded by the Kurgan.
Ramirez was born by the name Tak Ne in Egypt. He lived a very carefree life style for 2437 years. Then the Kurgan came along and chopped off his head. Ramirez was working for King Charles of Spain in early 1536 when he heard news of the Kurgan in Scotland. He found out about the clansman Connor MacLeod and made his way to Scotland to teach him the ropes, which ultimately costing him his life. Ramirez was the first to possess the Masamune Katana that MacLeod used to behead the Kurgan.
Brenda was born in Syracuse and was working with the New York Police Department in Forensics. She became interested in a particular case involving a man who had been beheaded under Madison Square Garden. The man was Iman Fasil... and the killer was Connor MacLeod. Brenda eventually became MacLeod's love interest and the two married after the prize, moving to the Scottish Highlands. But sadly....she had died by Highlander 2.
