Jan. 1st - Connor MacLeod was born in the Highlands of Scotland, in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Shiel


1520
Ramirez is assigned as Chief Metallurgist to King Charles the Fifth


1525
The Kurgan encounters Osta Vazilek
(listed under the alias Stosch Basalok in the Watchers' files)


1528
For Connor's tenth birthday, his cousin Dugal catches a salmon


1530 - 1535
The Kurgan beheads the Mongol before going in search of Connor MacLeod

Young Connor rides into his first battle with his clan!

On the battlefield Connor is mortally wounded by the Kurgan in the Battle of Loch Sheil between the MacLeod's and the Frazier's Clan.  Connor miraculously recovers, causing rumors to spread amongst the clan of a evil spirit in him.

Cursed as a demon, only the intervention of his cousin Angus prevents the clan from burning Connor.   Instead, he is banished from the Clan, but not before Angus gives him his sword.


1536
He travels for a few days and meets Heather MacDonald and her father.  He works on Heather's fathers farm and learns the skill of blacksmithing

After Heather's father dies, MacLeod marries Heather and they move to the Southern Uplands near the village of Jedburgh.  They take up residence in a small stone castle, next to a small forge.


1541
The Immortal Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez finds Connor and teaches him about Immortality and the rules of the Game and the Gathering, when the few Immortals who remain will battle to the last; he warns Connor of the danger of an evil Immortal like the Kurgan winning the Prize and plunging mankind into an "eternity of darkness"

After barely escaping with his head in Babylon, Greece, and China, Ramirez fights the Kurgan for the fourth and final time while Connor is away hunting

Heather tells Connor she was hiding in the woods, and never tells him that the Kurgan raped her after killing their friend.  MacLeod's home is destroyed in the battle and Connor acquires Ramirez's Masamune Katana and vows to avenge his death.   


1587
Heather dies of old age

Connor buries Heather and burns their home; he takes Ramirez's sword with him and moves to Edinburgh where he learns to read and write; he stays there around ten years; during the last six months of this time, he lives with a farmer and the man's young daughter until bandits try to rape the girl; Connor kills the bandits, but not before taking a crossbow bolt in the chest in full view; because he saved them from the bandits, the farmer helps Connor by sneaking him away from town and faking his burial; Connor leaves for London; in England he meets the Immortal Thomas Cavanaugh, who introduces him to many other Immortals; Cavanaugh also stresses that the Prize must not be won by an evil Immortal; Connor leaves England for France, and is surprised when Cavanaugh decides to travel with him; Connor begins to court Isabelle Tourez, a cousin of the King, but barely a month into the relationship, Cavanaugh reminds Connor of Heather and convinces him to break off with her; late at night after telling Isabelle he must leave, Connor and Cavanaugh are caught by the King's guards who arrest them after a short fight; the next morning, Cavanaugh is executed by beheading; Connor receives his friend's Quickening and then escapes while the guards are to stunned and scared to try and stop him; he leaves Europe for Asia


1590s
Kane and his two Immortal henchmen travel across Asia back to the mountain of Niri in search of the Immortal sorcerer Nakano

Kane and his henchmen find them; Kane kills Nakano, but the three evil Immortals are trapped in the cave when the Sorcerer's Quickening causes it to collapse; Connor escapes with his head
